This spotlight publication features a residential Bronx multi-talent salsa artist.  Julian Vasquez "El Diamante De La Salsa" comes from a musically influenced family.  He is a professional vocalist and is skilled in playing the guiro, bongos, guitar, and maracas.

His hit salsa singles "Soy Tuyo" and "Sonrisa Inolvidable" is reminiscent of the tropical salsa era while his hard hitting dance tracks "Sopresa" and "Baila" (featuring freestyle sensation Maribell "Roses are Red) received accolades in the latin dance club music scene.  The Top 40 mainstream song "Jessica" exhibits a creative blend of guitar, vocals, and percussion.
